This artwork was inspired by a nightmare I had not long ago. I look forward to adding it to one of my collections. I just know it gives you a chilling feel as well. 🙂

Sometimes I make backgrounds for websites and actual tiles and handbags, quilts and things like that when my designs are printed out in various formats. It’s one of the ways I am able to make somewhat of a living off of my art. This tile has a transparent background so I can play with the foreground and make it into day or night variations and add things like stars, etc.
Hope you all had a relaxing weekend!

Have a beautiful Sunday!
There’s been a lot of talk these past few weeks about “peak colors” for fall foliage in my region here on this east coast section of the clouds. Some say this time for the greatest variety and most gorgeous hue is around October, but it largely depends on the temperatures of the season. This new wall art/greetings combo tile was designed with that time in mind. There are trees around here that turn this bright, candy apple red when the conditions are just right. Many of these sights usually make it into my designs each autumn season. This year is no different.
Do you enjoy the fall season? We sure do!
Textures and patterns are something I often design in my spare time as a sort of sister to accompany the other artwork. These are in just as high demand as scenery and the other types of designs I specialize in.
It’s been another rough & trying week. My schedule has been turned upside down. We don’t get to slow down, though. Our son is entering the 4th grade this year, after all. We have to prepare. What lies ahead we’re unsure of. If you follow us on any of our social media accounts though, you know we’ve decided to go ahead again this year with #31Nightmares anyway. More on that very soon.
For now, I hope you like this themed design. There will be many more coming up.
Have a beautiful Sunday!
This Sunday we stripped down our usual detail for something simpler. It’s been quite a shift from our norm to move Snapping Turtle here to CardCastles. We hope you like some of the changes here so far. There is so much more happening behind the scenes.
The design itself kind of reinforces the motto that’s been ringing through our heads these past few weeks. “Sometimes simpler is better.”
We’ll see about that. ‘Cause we’d sure love to get back to our extravagant selves.
