Best of CardCastles 2016!

Although this year was filled with ups, downs, and downright madness around the world, some truly remarkable things still managed to happen here.

There is still so much left out, but thank you all for an amazing year of growth and opportunity.

Happy New Year

Dance, Dance

Grace. That’s the word that comes to mind when I think of the many friends I’ve made through Bloggers for Peace. This group is full of so many talented, kind, and loving people. I’m grateful to have met each and every one of you. I’d also like to thank Rarasaur for pointing me in Kozo‘s direction. It’s because of her I’ve gotten the chance to share and build with all of you.

It’s been a spectacular year and although I don’t have a traditional party planned, I did things the best way I know how. Through art and words. I give you…

Party

Party

To me it represents all of us coming together like one magnificent dance.

Gifts of Growth
With the year now behind us
Before we’ve truly begun
I’m anxious to tell you
That we all have won.

We’ve grown inside and you see it.
What a sight it is when we shine.
I hope it stays like this forever.
The gift is not just mine.

This has been part of the Monthly Peace Challenge: Party On, Garth for December. I couldn’t be prouder of all of the Bloggers for Peace. May you all have a peaceful New Year.

100th Post Party

balloons & confettiWelcome to my 100th post party! Today is my 100th article published here on WordPress. I’d like to dedicate this milestone to you, the readers. Without you, I wouldn’t have a reason to share my thoughts, writing, and art with the world. You make this possible every day. With each link you click, with each post you “Like” or comment on, you make me smile. So pull up a chair, sit back, and enjoy the virtual party.

Special Thanks

Thank You greeting
I’d like to thank PeaceGarret for choosing my children’s story, Little Blue Feather as a winner for the Bloggers for Peace Monthly Peace Challenge: Giveaway as a winner. His words of kindness and thoughtful gesture, along with a shiny copy of his lovely book, A Map and a Mule have touched and inspired me. It’s writers like him that remind me why I love writing in the first place. You can all expect a warm review of the above mentioned book in my next post.

Some other lovely people worth mentioning are: Sofia Siberia, Maddie Cochere, Kozo, Dianne Gray, Anka, and Rohan over at Rohan 7things. You have all become friends of mine and I appreciate your active participation in many of my discussions. All of you are avid readers and I treasure your visits here.

Last, but most certainly not least, I’d like the thank everyone else. The silent readers, the visitors outside of the WordPress community, the e-mail followers, people that find me because of a random search and decide to stay anyway, you all mean just as much to me. Your suggestions via e-mail, your purchases of my artwork, all of this keeps me going. These actions speak louder than words at times. It all makes me strive to do more. You make me strive for absolute greatness, and I’ll gladly take you along for the ride.
