We will certainly update you about all that & the reasons why soon.
First though, we’ve got more pressing matters at hand. Our business & website are going through yet another complete overhaul. While all things are being shuffled around & new security measures begin to take hold, I will be redesigning the place from top to bottom & fixing some of the formatting issues with text that occur when switching views from desktop to mobile devices.
We are going for a cleaner look with less of a cluttery mess in our sidebar area.
Some important points to mention
We will be updating our Terms due to incidents that occurred over the break
There will be cross-platform changes & updates (Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube)
Art Services are temporarily suspended until April. (We are booked solid & consulting new clients.)
Sleepy Sundays has come to an end. (For now, until further notice. We are planning something new.)
We are currently searching for a social media manager. Contact us for more info.
Snapping Turtle is interested in branching out even further. (More details on this coming up.)
We’ve missed you tremendously. Thank you for being patient & supporting us while we had a lot going on.
We ask for a little more of that patience while we get things back in order here & sweep out all the dust creatures that creeped up inside our little castle in the clouds while we were away.
We will be relocating our operations here as far as artwork. The office will be moving and you may have noticed I am redesigning the website to match our new digs. We’re hoping you all find it cozy still once it’s all said and done.
This weekend I’ve designed a few more nature-inspired pieces to be added to the new gallery. This is the first of that set.
Is anything in your life moving on/moving out or taking “flight”?
The above video is the story behind an old creation of mine. There was a nightmare behind this one too. Notes: I would’ve liked to have added more audio commentary but technical issues along with my schedule didn’t allow. You’ll have to settle with just my intro and the accompanying text for now.
However, I may go back and re-edit this one in the future, in tradition with the story itself.
I cannot help but be excited with of all the new changes being added. You have all been with me every step of the way and I appreciate that, wholeheartedly. ♥️
The new home in the clouds was a partial gift from someone close, who knows how much this means to me. & I love them for that.
I am thrilled to celebrate this milestone with old friends and new faces, fresh eyes, and talented meetings.
You have helped make this place a significant location for Art Culture on the internet and I love you for that. Yes, you, my reading friend, my art lover, old or new.
Thank you to anyone that liked or commented on some of the music-related posts I’ve done in the past few years here on CardCastles. Music will continue to play a large role in some of my postings here. I may also be posting some recordings of my own in the near future.
Thank you to everyone that follows the site’s feed on Twitter. You’ve helped CardCastles get noticed by actors, musicians, comedians, artists, and writers everywhere. That was my dream, but certainly not my intention. You’ve thrust this place into the limelight of The Arts community, and I’m largely thankful to all of you for that.
