31 Nightmares 2018: The 27th

This design was inspired by a nightmare I had a few years ago about the wind having a loud sound and then later a voice. It was quite frightening and happened around winter season. The thoughts stirred up after the dream have brought out more then one of my designs and I’ve worked them into a collection.

Daydreams Diary: Moving On

We’re slowly packing our things again for yet another move. The future is somewhat uncertain but we’ve been planning out how the next few months should go. We’re all so ready to leave this place, including my son. While I sorted out upcoming errands and filed away my folders for the night, I added this piece to the collection of prints coming up for sale as wall art and greeting cards. It actually started out as my son’s idea and it is brilliant. This one is another trip into the fantasy genre.

Why not escape far away for a while before we head someplace new and have to do all of that un-fun grown-up stuff. 🙂

Sleepy Sundays: Watchful Eye

This weekend I started to wrap up projects I’ve been working on for months now. Next week begins the countdown for our community’s favorite event, #31Nightmares. While I placed the end drafts into my folders I worked on this multi-purpose template for future prints. It was fully inspired by the recent autumnal equinox and some of our feathered friends in the skies migrating to warmer regions.

What do you look forward to this fall?

Have an adventurous Sunday!

Sleepy Sundays: Water Peony

Water Peony

This weekend as I sent out my folders to my list of clients we did a little dance between stress and happiness. Friday night I went out like a light after a week’s worth of the nuttiness that can be a work week. Saturday morning awakening to some of the sweetest words ever made my day over and then some. Into the night my hands worked away at florals and the closing of some other projects. There is so much in store for this February. Even though there is still quite a bit of negative going on in the world, your love shines through it all.

This design was inspired by paintings done with loved ones throughout childhood. It will act as sort of a logo mascot as well as a template for my February into spring custom design collections.

What driving force gets you moving? Has someone made your Sunday yet today? Better yet, have you made someone’s Sunday today? 🙂

Have a peaceful Sunday!
