Perspective is a gift some of us share more easily in writing rather than art. It’s rare I get to show you two different versions of a piece – so allow me to dazzle you with your own point of view. If you analyze both of these renders closely, you’ll see so many differences in the tones and colors of each.

Ultimately, I chose the blue for this week’s post because it fit the feel and mood of a theme I’m trying to capture this month. Which do you like better? Why?
Do you wish you could fly?
Have an artsy Sunday!
Today I’m unveiling the surprise I spoke to my readers about. This is my second children’s story. I worked really hard on it and even lost sleep on the illustration portion.
There is no fee. No need to download anything. Just sit back, and hit the arrow [< >] buttons to turn the pages. It’s set up to function like an eReader. I know a lot of you have children and some have been going through some rough times lately. Let this be my gift of quality time to you.
My own son is my most honest critic and he happily approved of it. So, run and get your kids or your tiny relatives and have a happy reading journey!

Once upon a universe, when the moon was just brand new…
He had a thought in his growing mind. “What is it that I do?”
“I’m all alone, it seems. I don’t see any friends.”
“This place is just so big. I’m not sure where it ends!”
Contrary to his confusion, something marvelous had begun.
A bunch of stars had come to greet him.
Of the brightest, was the sun.
The two became close friends.
They danced in circles of light.
This dance soon became what we now know as day and night.
