One of the lovely humans I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know these past few years of working in this industry is the beautiful and kind Chantal Laura Handley.
Chantal specializes in pastel art and horror icons. She sells her gorgeous artwork everywhere from Comic Con to RedBubble, and including her own website.
Here are some of my favorite pieces she’s created:
Chantal also has a countdown to Halloween of her own going on right now! Go check her out!

Since we started this thing back in 2015, horror movie soundtracks has been a favorite topic amongst our assortment of all things creepy.
Today, we’re highlighting one of my personal favorites in the genre, Master of Horror, Mr. John Carpenter. John is quite the composer and has done some of the most iconic themes for your favorite horror films.
You can find a sizable list for John Carpenter with some of his best titles on Spotify below
I highly recommend just letting them all shuffle play this time of year. 🙂

On the 1st during our opener, we highlighted Kevin Yagher and his work in special effects as well as his gorgeous showcasing of some that work online.
Today we’d like to highlight someone in that same realm with an equal number of impressive accomplishments and the skills to match.
Mark Shostrom is the man I’m referring to.
& He also has a really amazing page linked below.
I’ve been like a small child in a room full of bright colors ever since I found Mark online. He shares some truly wonderful behind-the-scenes magic on a pretty regular basis. He’s worked on a good number of all the movies I’ve ever loved as well.
This is one of my favorite bits of work he’s shared.
There is so much more, though! If you’re on Instagram, please consider giving him a follow. He’s really a treasure and so is his art.

Good evening, darlings.
There’s not even much commentary I have to add to this one.
Simply admire the awesomeness that is this collaboration:
They don’t call him a “Master of Horror” for nothing. How cool is it to get NIN to revise one of your most iconic works?
