Sleepy Sundays: Enchanted Patch

The seasons are changing rapidly around here but somehow this weekend winter managed to hang on. Despite the cold temps these surreal scenes of the entrance of spring managed to creep into my dreams and designs. Spring is very close around here, and you can tell by the trees. You are starting to see little bits of green pop up here and there. Soon even the cold will not be able to stop it. Everything will come into bloom. I’ve always liked the change of seasons around here for that reason, and the beginning of March around here usually signals spring. —Usually.

A lot has changed in the past few months. Even more is still changing. We are no longer moving our place of residence and this office. (At least not any time in the near future.) A great deal has gone on behind the scenes.

One thing remains constant. My health is still considerably poor. We are doing our best to fix this. Although, I’m not too sure what’s in the cards for me.

We decided to renew CardCastles for another year anyway. Somehow, I still have this strange optimism despite having tea with the reaper lately. There’s so much more to tell you, but we’re going to have to save that for a Daydreams Diary. For now, let’s all just try to look towards brighter days together.

What gives you hope?

Have a peaceful Sunday

Sleepy Sundays: Forest Nook

For years I’ve taken inspiration from the sights and sounds of nature. This piece is no different. Yet, there’s something alive about this one. The colors seem to dance on the page.

With spring around the corner, I imagine some of that imagery will only seep into my work some more.

I have a very special musical treat to go along with this Sunday morning’s coffee chatter. The Otherworlds Café has been a busy place lately. There seems to be radio transmissions being found there…

What was the last bit of imagery that inspired you? Do you create your own music? Are you excited for spring?
