Over the weekend, I’ve been working on the start of what looks like strictly greeting card prints this season. This was one of the first results produced. I may tweak the colors and some of the design but the base will stay the same.
After talking it over with a few of those nearest & dearest to me, I plan on using this concept as a base-work for future endeavors. The neat detail about it is, the original is a transparent mask, so I can place that little branch with our feathered friends on it just about anywhere.
What do you think we should use it for? The possibilities are endless.
We are currently undergoing maintenance, making some more changes to the site, and have a lot going on behind the curtain.
We will be away for a while during the holidays and will miss you all terribly, so we are leaving you this greeting as a parting gift.
While CardCastles will remain down until around the first week of January, we will still be maintaining our art services during downtime. We have some sales going on you can find out about through our social media pages and through our CONTACT page here on site.
Any questions can be sent to Snapping Turtle through our contact page here or by calling us directly. Greeting card prints will be available all throughout the holiday season.
There are usually a lot of requests in the CardCastles inbox this time of year for greeting card prints. This little in flux usually lasts until around January and then things begin to slow down. I always enjoy making them, especially around the holidays. Halloween is one of my favorite seasons to design for in the fall. Some of my favorites usually go to teachers and mothers for the classroom or children’s parties. I just added custom invitations to the list for that reason.
This design was inspired by a nightmare I had a few years ago about the wind having a loud sound and then later a voice. It was quite frightening and happened around winter season. The thoughts stirred up after the dream have brought out more then one of my designs and I’ve worked them into a collection.
