Daydreams Diary: Moving On

We’re slowly packing our things again for yet another move. The future is somewhat uncertain but we’ve been planning out how the next few months should go. We’re all so ready to leave this place, including my son. While I sorted out upcoming errands and filed away my folders for the night, I added this piece to the collection of prints coming up for sale as wall art and greeting cards. It actually started out as my son’s idea and it is brilliant. This one is another trip into the fantasy genre.

Why not escape far away for a while before we head someplace new and have to do all of that un-fun grown-up stuff. 🙂

Sleepy Sundays: Greet

Two more additions for The Holiday Collection this week. I’m not a fan of using fonts in my work, unless I design said fonts myself. These greeting card designs are exceptions. I’m much busier closing out some book cover projects, along with planning a move from my current location. There was a need to push these out fast. The fonts helped save me some much-needed extra time. Hope you enjoy them! Just trying to spread some cheer in these dismal times we are living in.

What do you do to take your mind off the madness?

Have a cheer-filled Sunday!

Sleepy Sundays: November Chill

There hasn’t been many photo snaps here in the clouds lately. This weekend I aimed to change that. The perfect moment somehow drifted my way while my son and I were chatting about the noticeable chill in the air that came with November rolling its way in.

With last month being so unseasonably warm for October, we embraced this little bit of crisp with open arms. The changeover signals some events and adventures that will be happening for us as the year closes out.

Do you embrace change or shy away from it?

Have a breezy Sunday!

Sleepy Sundays: Wind Trips

Patterns like this one are always a blast for me to design because I’ll collage several different designs into one. This one is made up of two different patterns of fall foliage, one that I shrunk down into tiny little golden pearl-textured dots. I’ve been working on designs like these through October, and they will likely continue through November if time allows.

This weekend’s was inspired by the winds that hit here about Friday that are signs of an upcoming storm in our area.

What colors have you seen floating through the sky lately? Do you like multi-layered designs for a living room? How’s the weather in your neck of the woods?

Have a breezy Sunday!
