Ascent

We are turning a new corner here at CardCastles and would like you to join us.

Plans are in the works for quite a few changes in the upcoming months. We will no longer be doing our regular #SleepySundays posts for the remainder or the year.

We are also unsure if we will be resurrecting #31Nightmares for this upcoming October. This will depend largely on community demand.

These pauses are for good reason. We are working on something much bigger as a team here at home for the future of our business, Snapping Turtle, that has been playing a larger role here these past few years.

I am also individually working on three book-related projects the rest of this summer, and likely into the fall.

We will certainly miss the old traditions for a while, but times, they are a-changin’ —and with it, so are we.

Updates will come as these changes go into effect. We thank you for your continued support. Keep an eye on our social media accounts for news about upcoming diaries and anything else as we near the end of this summer.

CardCastles Artist Spotlight: August 2019

Well, darlings, it’s been quite some time since our last spotlight. Today we have some fresh new faces we’d like to share. We hope you will pay them each a visit!

Brothers from Brooklyn

Brothers from Brooklyn is a New York-based Italian-American pride and comedy page on Instagram. For those of you that are interested, this is a really fun & wonderfully curated account to follow. “Brother Anthony” that is one of the owners & administrator of this page is an absolute sweetheart. Most everyone that follows this account is made to feel welcome and part of the party.

Brother Anthony also has a page for his magic talents here: the_mystefyer

SplatterBrothers

The SplatterBrothers are a team of screenwriters, directors, producers & just down-right horror film fanatics. This passionate independent company has several projects out as we speak. Support indie filmmakers & give these two talented young gentlemen a follow! While you’re peeking around, tell them Daydreams from Snapping Turtle sent you. 😉

Franki Love

Franki Love is an extremely talented singer/songwriter that I’ve been following for some time now. I certainly have to mention that she is one of the most positive, warm, and loving people I’ve come to know on Twitter. She has a unique charm about her that you’ll notice right away. If you like what you hear, please give her a follow and check out her official website below.

~This has been another~

7 Years

It’s been 7 years since we put the first card in the sky.

So much has changed.

We almost had to close between this year and last. Somehow, running on miracles, we were able to save this place. &While things are still somewhat uncertain, I am grateful for this opportunity to continue what we are trying to build on.

Thanks for flying with us.

Summer Touchdown

I’ve been working on some new collections lately. One of these series pieces is designed specifically for wall art, but I’m sure can still be used as a template for other designs.

This artwork is one of the newest in that series. Proud to give it a space here at CardCastles. Let me know if you deem it worthy.
