Site Notice: Reconstruction

Well darlings, it’s been quite a while.

We will certainly update you about all that & the reasons why soon.

First though, we’ve got more pressing matters at hand. Our business & website are going through yet another complete overhaul. While all things are being shuffled around & new security measures begin to take hold, I will be redesigning the place from top to bottom & fixing some of the formatting issues with text that occur when switching views from desktop to mobile devices.

We are going for a cleaner look with less of a cluttery mess in our sidebar area.

Some important points to mention

  • We will be updating our Terms due to incidents that occurred over the break
  • There will be cross-platform changes & updates (Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube)
  • Art Services are temporarily suspended until April. (We are booked solid & consulting new clients.)
  • Sleepy Sundays has come to an end. (For now, until further notice. We are planning something new.)
  • We are currently searching for a social media manager. Contact us for more info.
  • Snapping Turtle is interested in branching out even further. (More details on this coming up.)

We’ve missed you tremendously. Thank you for being patient & supporting us while we had a lot going on.

We ask for a little more of that patience while we get things back in order here & sweep out all the dust creatures that creeped up inside our little castle in the clouds while we were away.

Love Always,

The Snapping Turtle Family

For the Love of Art

You’ve heard me speak on artistic expression and how important it is to myself (and others here) many times before. I often see some wonderful creators go unnoticed and this bothers me to no end. So, earlier in the week I vented those thoughts on Twitter and called out to fellow artists and creators of all kinds to share their info with me so we can all give each other a little boost.

The response was so warm and beautiful. Here are the results:

See what I mean? Such a lovely response from such beautifully talented individuals. & We will continue to support and feature fellow artists & creators of all kinds as long as this site stands.

Be sure to follow the CardCastles Twitter for little updates and exclusives like these. For now it’s solely run by yours truly, but moderated by our team behind the scenes here at Snapping Turtle®. CardCastles TERMS apply to all social media accounts as well.

Most importantly, never stop dreaming. 🙂

The Information Broker

Well darlings,

I’m excited to reveal to you another collaboration with my two favorite authors!

The Information Broker, the sequel to The Erratic Sun

is my third cover artwork for a book or novel that is available for purchase on Amazon.

[Click to purchase on Amazon for Kindle or paperback!]
My dear friends Matt “Matticus” Blashill & Micheal “Revis” Hansen have worked very hard to give you another beautiful installment to this story. For those that enjoyed The Erratic Sun, I highly recommend this sequel.

If you aren’t familiar with either, I suggest giving The Erratic Sun a spin.

& If you’re into the fantasy genre, check out The Seven Sceptres as well. (Also available right here at CardCastles by clicking on the book in the sidebar.)

Happy reading!

Come back & let me know what you think!!

Sleepy Sundays: Hazy Memories

Hazy Memories ©️2019 Snapping Turtle Arts | cardcastlesinthesky.com

Some summers remind me of summer’s past & the little memories tucked within them.

Out where I live, if you’re closeby some water or a storm is on its way, sometimes you see this hazy mist in the sky–almost like a fog, but much thinner.

This is the first landscape design I’ve done in a while based off of just that. This one is going to be exclusively wall art & not used for other projects.

We’ve spent a good portion of this year cleaning up from the last. Now it’s time to finally have some fun. Much more to come in the coming weeks, folks. Strap in & get ready. 😁

& Most importantly, have a relaxing rest of your Sunday.

Sleepy Sundays: Beyond the Line

Beyond the Line ©️ 2019 Snapping Turtle Arts | cardcastlesinthesky.com

Landscapes are one of my favorite things to paint or design when it comes to wall art. Right now, I’m working on a few of these and am unsure which ones I’m going to keep.

This is the first one in that bunch. The look was inspired by how this area close to us looks after a thunderstorm at sunset.

What have you been up to lately?

Have a peaceful Sunday
