Sleepy Sundays: Yellow Mist at Sundown

Yellow Mist at SundownYellow Mist at Sundown

Sometimes sadness can have a way of entangling you. There seems to be a lot of that going around lately. Not much seems to be going right. I’ve hit obstacles on the way to publishing. Art sales have been dwindling when they once soared. I find myself less inspired due to a staggering amount of personal issues. To top it all off, a friend of mine is in trouble and in desperate need of help.

With all that going on, it could be difficult to smile. I stepped outside yesterday in need of some fresh air. In the middle of some deep thought, there was a pleasant and very welcome distraction. The sky appeared to be putting on a show before the sun went to bed. It looked a lot like what I sketched up above. It’s like life keeps on trying to tell me to just relax.

So I did.

What calms you?

Have a relaxing Sunday!

  1. Sometimes there isn’t much you can say or do when life doesn’t flow as you’d like. I’m adapting a “not gonna worry about it” mentality ’cause I’m tired of stressing over everything.
Sending lots of love to you.
Of course I love the music. That’s one of the things that calms me. That and chocolate lol.

    1. Chocolate is like some healing medication. 😛 I try so hard not to worry about crap, my Glorious friend, but it’s like something always ends up seeping through my armor. Still, music is an excellent de-stressing tool.
This song is in heavy rotation on my iPod.
Lots of love right back atcha girl. 😉

      1. Believe me Daydreams, I didn’t write those words lightly. Everyday in the midst of arguing with myself about things past I struggle to remember that I’m supposed to be “letting it go”. It’s a work in progress, which to me is pretty much the way life is. Once we conquer one thing, there is something else to tackle.
