Sleepy Sundays: Gray Day

Gray DayGray Day

Sometimes there are just some aspects of life that are beyond our control. Take the weather for example. It’s been raining here non-stop and I can still hear it’s pitter-patter on the ground outside as I type. The sound is strangely calming. It’s looking like the next few days will consist of movie marathons, artwork with our son, and other indoor activities. I’m not at all agitated. In fact, I like the rain. It nourishes everything around us. I just find it funny that the April showers are a little early this year, seeing as March still has a few more days left before it comes to a close.

What’s your favorite rainy day activity?

Have a pittery-pattery Sunday!

I’ll take these major earthquakes that we have every……. Wait! We haven’t had a major earthquake in the 21 years I’ve been here. I think the last one was in 1846 or something like that………

Never say never. That’s what we thought about hurricanes. We thought we were impervious to them – there were none before Irene and Sandy. None that impacted us severely anyway. & Then Sandy, well – she kicked our ass for lack of better terms.
